36335: Køb af chassis (06-07-2006 18:44:14)

Hej

The original Series 2 chassis differs in a few areas.

First, the handbrake mount is different. On the early chassis it is a pin with two flanges that attach to the chassis using two through bolts through the main rail. On later models its a short pit that bolts to a welded on U shaped bracket on the side of the rail.

Second, the check straps as already mentioned.

Third, only the later (suffix D-H) chassis has the diagonal strengtheners on the bulkhead outriggers. There are also a few subtle differences with sundry brackets around the chassis that were added and taken away but I'm never sure what or where they changed.
