Mere om BP og Duckhams - for olie-nørderne.... (17-12-2007 17:17:23)

Hej Lars, den dato er jo osse fra langt efter "ud-fadingen", så mon ikke de vil blive ved med at dukke op.
Jeg har klippet lidt fra en artikel i BP NEWS, og det forklarer BPs attityde til deres forskellige brands:
Citat:
"BP Lubricants is also positioning itself
to be a market leader in Asia. The business
has a 32% market share in Malaysia and is
in the process of adapting to both internal
and external changes.
Zuraidah Abdul Hamid, customer
service unit manager, says that after BP’s
acquisition of Castrol and Duckhams,
some customers were a little confused. “It
affected our performance,” she says.
BP decided to rationalise its product
range through ‘brand architecture’,
segmenting the market according to
customer attitudes to things such as
vehicle maintenance and ability to pay.
“We then tailored our product offer in line
with customers’ needs and desires,”
explains Zuraidah.
“Castrol is our premium lubricant
range,” she says. “Duckhams attracts
more traditional customers looking for a
basic product while BP sits somewhere in
the middle.”
Citat slut.
Vi her i DLRK hører altså til de snusfornuftige, der vil have noget for pengene...
Mange hilsener
